IFS Service and Mobile Work Order Workstream Lead
SSG is currently undertaking a reimplementation of its IFS. Currently SSG uses version 7.5 and has a large number of modifications to suit the business. Rather than unpicking these, SSG is commencing a reimplementation of its ERP to IFS Cloud. This project is starting the initiate phase in February 2024 with a view to commencing prototyping in April 2024. Go live is currently expected in August 2025.
This role is to lead the Service Contract and Work Order management (engineering management) of the IFS implementation workstream.
Requirements:
• Develop service and engineering data and analysis. To highlight areas where reporting is required and cardboard engineer reports to build into IFS lobbies.
• Experience of maintenance contract management including processing of service invoices and purchase orders, and use of a CRM platform.
• Experience managing a service team or customer support team across a regulated industry. This includes mapping of engineers to sites to ensure efficient and effective working to meet SLA commitments.
• Experience of planning a field service team to maximise customer satisfaction. Experience managing service based contracts (including service visits; calls outs) and closure of works orders to support financial recognition.
• Prepare ‘How to’ guides and other training materials with the user of a software called ClickLearn.
• Provide process and application coaching/training to super-user/user community.
• Experience of compliance and reporting within a service based revenue offering.
• Desirable is experience of inventory management including stock controls for inventory held offsite. This includes maintenance stocks held by engineering to regular review usage and demand as well as perform existence testing.
Skills/Experience:
• Ability to work with existing employees and team member to process map current state processes. Ability to perform gap analysis between the current state and best practise and explain the efficiencies and benefits to colleagues. Change management experience to ensure alignment.
• Ability to train and develop others to understand any utilise new working practises and processes.
• Project Management and Process Mapping Skills
• Must be capable of being able to produce a Gannt Chart with detailed milestones.
• Proven ability to take a theoretical process and move it into working practice
• Detailed knowledge of IFS v.7.5
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft productivity tools
• Experience of organising and analysing data to support decision-making using common Microsoft tools.
• Advanced Spreadsheet Skills
• Good research and analytical skills
• Understanding of common business processes
• Appreciation of technology as a driver for change
• Able to work to demanding deadlines
• Good analytical / problem-solving skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Able to operate independently or as part of a team, and still being accountable.
• Good communication and influencing skills, both verbal & written
