Preventing infections
The Health and Social Care Act 2008 requires that registered providers of health and social care:
“Provide and maintain a clean and appropriate environment in managed premises that facilitates the prevention and control of infections.”
All staff working within a healthcare environment should know and understand the importance of thorough cleaning in order to maintain the highest standards of infection prevention and control - helping to prevent the spread of infections to staff, patients and visitors.
We design products with hygiene in mind, using antimicrobial additives in our equipment where possible. We’ll advise on cleaning protocols that prevent infection and keep the equipment safe.
