Sales Account Manager in the Southwest & Southeast
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Account Manager (SAM) to target the Southeast. This newly created position will focus on engaging multiple stakeholders within the NHS and Private Healthcare sectors, including CCIOs, estates, facilities, ward managers, and digital transformation officers. The ideal candidate will have experience managing long project sales cycles and collaborating with a Sales Engineer to drive the adoption of our entire portfolio across critical alarm and software solutions.
Requirements:
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to target key stakeholders within the NHS and Private Healthcare sectors
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring a high conversion rate
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including CCIOs, estates, facilities, ward managers, and digital transformation officers
- Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value of Static Systems Group’s solutions
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with the Sales Engineer to provide comprehensive technical and sales support
- Coordinate with internal teams, including internal sales, aftersales service, and project delivery, to ensure seamless execution of projects
Market Development:
- Act as a change agent to drive the adoption of critical alarm and software solutions within the healthcare industry
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to adjust strategies accordingly
Reporting and Accountability:
- Track and report on sales performance, including pipeline development, forecast accuracy, and achievement of sales targets
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
• Hungry, passionate, and hunter mentality: Demonstrated drive and motivation to achieve sales targets and grow market share
• Commercially astute: Strong business acumen with the ability to identify and capitalise on opportunities
• Driven and accountable: Self-motivated with a commitment to delivering results and being accountable for performance
• Proven experience in managing long project sales cycles and engaging multiple stakeholders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
• Ability to navigate relationships with Tier 1 / Contractors and Facilities Management in the healthcare sector.
• Experience in developing new sales processes and strategies.
• Exposure to the critical alarm market and understanding of related technologies and solutions.
