Clinical Nurse Advisor
As the Clinical Advisor you will actively and effectively promote the clinical benefits of SSG’s products and services and be the Company’s key clinical contact during key customer meetings.
You will use your clinical knowledge to support the development of new and existing products, services and training & support materials.
You will work with the Technical and Commercial team, applying clinical input, to achieve SSG’s objectives.
This role is part time (5 days a month) with national travel, as required. These days will require some level of flexibility on a monthly basis to meet business needs.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with Marketing to identify and develop key opinion leader relationships.
- Work with Marketing to develop opportunities for customer testimonials and case study development and promotion.
- Work closely with Sales, supporting key clinical meetings, product demonstrations and installations.
- Provide on-site or virtual nurse-call and associated service product training to customers (Clinical, IT and Estates), ensuring correct use of products to improve clinical efficiency and patient outcomes maximising sales potential.
- Drive revenue opportunities by recommending product service or replacement where appropriate.
- Identify future opportunities for additional sales growth.
- Provide on-going clinical support, resolving any customer concerns at both product and system levels, ensuring customer requests are actioned in a timely manner.
- Support, produce and deliver training content appropriate to the customer, feeding back to Marketing and Product Training Teams.
- Support Commercial Teams at national exhibitions.
- Maintain knowledge of competitor products, market positioning and comparative performance to feed back to Sales and Marketing Teams.
- Support internal product training as required.
Competencies
· Demonstrated Clinical Experience: Experience working with clinical healthcare professionals (Clinical IT experience is also advantageous) across various departments and wards.
· Clinical Knowledge: Experience and/or knowledge of working with NHS stakeholders and decision makers etc.
· Training and Education: Experience in training delivery and education to individuals and larger audiences.
· Proficiency in Relationship Building: Demonstrable experience supporting and building robust key opinion leader relationships.

Proficiencies
- Professional clinical qualification for example, NMC or HCPC and operated at NHS band 6 or above.
- >5+ years commercially focused experience.
- Proven clinical expertise within the NHS or private health sector.
- Experience of deploying new technologies in a clinical environment.
- Ability to build relationships with KOLs and relevant infrastructure, medical and care societies.
- Proven track record of executing projects.
- Ability to interact with customers at differing levels including C-Suite and industry thought leaders.
- Willingness to travel nationally.
