As part of the assembly team, you will be expected to complete the final assembly processes on a variety of products covering our essential markets within Nurse call and Custodial solutions. This may also include trunking assembly and metalwork prep.
The individual will be expected to demonstrate a flexibility, capability, and willingness to move around the factory to support production operations where required. Most work is undertaken on a bench and requires a high level of manual dexterity and attention to detail. Typical skills include mechanical assembly using hand and power tools, soldering skills and final assembly & pack.
The ability to learn is essential as post training, the expectation is autonomy in following production drawings.
Experience in small electronic assembly or equivalent would be advantageous.
Requirements:
• High level of manual dexterity
• Ability to follow production drawings.
• ‘Can do’ attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to function as part of a small team.
• Experience of production environment
• Stable employment history
• Trunking duties will include lifting of large trunking units (in some case 2 or 4 person lift).
