Evo600 FIre Alarm system
Evo600 is ideal for small and medium sized installations such as care homes, schools, and custodial suites.
Comprising either 1 or 2 loop panels. Evo600 panels can be networked together to provide comprehensive coverage for multi-building sites.
Evo600 is equally suited to a new build installation or forming part of a site refurbishment programme.
At a glance:-
Control equipment choice
- 1 or 2 loop panels
- Networking capability
- Open protocol
- Day/night operating modes
- EN54 compliant
- Systems can be specified with 1 or 2 detection loops.
- Can accommodate up to 96 zones.
- Each loop is capable of supporting up to 126 analogue addressable devices including detector, sounders and outstations to allow for the connection of conventional wired devices and automatic door closers, damper control units, etc.
- Evo600 analogue addressable fire alarm control and indicating panels are BSI approved. Fully compliant with EN54: Parts 2 & 4.
Sophisticated detection
- Discovery® protocol developed by Apollo Fire Detectors Limited has been adopted as the preferred option with Evo600 control panels.
- Chosen for their sophistication and reliability in operation, each detection device in the Discovery range automatically compensates for contamination and has the ability to be remotely adjusted from the control panel for five different operating modes (levels of sensitivity) according to each particular environment.
- A coded plastic card plugged into the detector base provides or simple, user-friendly location. All electronic components are fitted into the head with the location information being held in the base. This method of addressing simplifies and speeds up installation and commissioning, with the possibility of making addressing errors during maintenance and servicing being eliminated.
Easy to install, easy to live with
- Evo600 fire panels are well thought out. Simple and straightforward to understand for installers, commissioning engineers and end-users alike.
- An ‘auto-learn’ function interrogates newly installed loops and automatically identifies all devices.
- From this point the system is fully operational as a single zone, one-out, all-out system.
- Programmable function buttons simplify system disablements and allow for site specific functions.
- Separate operating modes for day and night operation.
- One-touch testing enables system interrogation to take place without raising an alarm condition.
- Last 1,000 events can be viewed at the control panel.
- ‘Help’ pages support system functions.
- Access controlled functions prevent unauthorised use.
- Ergonomically designed buttons and panel layout, with large text display for simplified operation.
- Networking for integrated site-wide operation.
- Third-party integration with for example, security damper control and building management systems.
- Systems are true 'open protocol' using un-encrypted devices to give freedom of choice in the supply of replacement parts, servicing, modification and system upgrade.
