Edgbaston Hosts First Solutions-driven IP Seminar

The new look Edgbaston County Cricket ground in Birmingham is the venue for the launch of a series of important seminar presentations throughout the UK that will outline how Internet Protocol (IP) technology is being applied in healthcare communications and alarm systems in UK hospitals.

Edgbaston Hosts First Solutions-driven IP Seminar

The talk, entitled ‘Solutions-driven IP’ will feature video clips demonstrating a variety of applications for the Fusion-IP system recently launched by Static Systems Group (SSG). There are currently 22 different apps offered under the headings of: IP at the bedside, IP for Intelligent Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS), IP for Systems Integration, and IP for Remote Connectivity.

Presented by SSG’s sales and marketing director, Phil Wade, delegates to the Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management West Midlands’ meeting on March 14th 2012 will be told how IP is revolutionising the way that medical, nursing and management staff are able to adopt and take advantage of the latest advances in IP based networks.

Mr Wade will guide delegates on what IP is, some of the issues involved in installing and using the system, and specific healthcare applications that can be enhanced through IP.

After the formal business, delegates will enjoy a tour of the cricket club, including the stunning new stand.
