Single Bed Ward Concept Gains Wider Audience

The concept ward features the latest nurse call and bedhead services products and some advanced concepts in ward design and systems integration. These include: full connectivity of the bed to provide status, exit alarms and nurse call. These features, along with automatic nurse presence, patient entertainment and two-way speech through IP are intended to stimulate debate on how technology might be used to enhance the patient environment and assist in issues such as infection control and patient safety.
