Static Systems Group positioned for continued growth

As part of an ambitious growth strategy, Static Systems has invested over £500K in its head office IT system.  The new technology brings with it improved efficiencies in administration, systems planning and order fulfilment; which the company anticipates will lead to quicker delivery times and all round improved customer service.

The new computer system is only a small element in the company’s plans for 2016 which will see investment in its healthcare communications, bedhead services trunking and fire alarm system product ranges, as well as site services and training.

Other changes include the appointment of Richard Tew as Director of Product Development. Richard, who is tasked with leading the company product development programme, has an extensive knowledge of both the business and the company’s chosen market sectors; having joined Static Systems in 1990.

Richard’s appointment follows the retirement of Mike Cardew who held the position of Technical Director for over 20 years.  During his time with the company Mike was involved with many of Static’s market-leading innovations, including Fusion-IP the ‘platform independent’ and ‘end-to-end’ healthcare communication solution designed to meet international IP/LAN standards for true flexibility.

“Updating our in-house computer system is an important investment that will allow us to evolve our operation to meet the changing demands of the healthcare sector and react more quickly to customer need, said Managing Director, Adrian Turner.

“2016 promises the introduction of new products, with additional features added to established ranges.  The appointment of Richard Tew who understands our business and is motivated along with the core management team to take available technologies and develop products for improved patient wellbeing and the support of healthcare professionals as well as construction teams is key to this.”

These changes follow on from a company rebrand towards the end of 2015, and the building of the much talked about Design & Innovation Centre, showcasing the P21+ Repeatable Rooms 4 Bed Bay.
